My thoughts on the 206 election results

I'll continue to say it until I'm blue in the face; I'm amazed at the success of the GOP in the face of a BDS inflicted, liberal MSM.

Sure the GOP dropped the ball on several key issues.

Yes, the American public has grown weary of the terrorist insurgency in Iraq.

Republicans in Congress grew fat & took far too many liberties that run counter to conservative values (pork, spending like drunken sailors, etc.).

And even corruption by a select few Republicans hurt us badly.

For all of that they deserved to be sent a message from the voting public.

However, the message that needed sent was NOT to give power to the current moonbats that now run the DNC.

But the main reason we got this election result, IMO, has more to do with the relentless slanders, smears, lies, distortions, deceit & calumny by the MSM. No issue that remotely relates to politics is presented to the American public accurately & in proper context. Sadly, the "newz" from the MSM is almost indistinguishable from typical DNC Talking Points. Unfortunately, the DNC today is unethical, immoral & embraces it's extreme base.

No matter how you slice it, most Americans still get all of their "newz" from the MSM. And the general public does not pay close attention to politics, etc. So they might know & even agree that there is media bias, but they have no clue how outrageous it really is. What they "know" is that Bush & the Republicans f¤¢ked up (insert liberal meme here), because those memes have been beaten into their heads 24/7.

History is rife with examples where the masses were misled into making some very bad choices yet they were convinced they were doing the right thing.

Knowing this, no one can convince me that if the MSM was not the media arm of the DNC, but simply an objective, non-partisan source of accurate news, the 2006 election would have been one of the final nails in the coffin for the DNC as we know it today.

Thus the title of this blog, "Perception is reality.... Regardless of the facts".
